Idaho Falls Engagement Pictures

What a cute couple. The bride wanted the engagement photos to have an urban feel to them. So we went to downtown and did an urban photo shoot. They are so in love, it's cute! I found a few more cool place to take pictures. I can't wait to do their wedding photography!

Rigby Wedding Pictures

I've been photographing lots of brides lately, tis the wedding season. This wedding was in Rigby at the loft. I love being a wedding photographer because I get to be in there and a part of someone's big day. Every bride is different and their pictures always have a unique feel to each of them.

Easter

This Easter was fun! The kids got bikes, they didn't really seem as excited about it as I thought they would, but I think it was because it was like 6:30 in the morning. They have both gotten the hang of it pretty quickly and are asking all the time to go ride bikes. The Easter bunny brought some candy and Tangled. Jake has his sold milk chocolate bunny finished by like 8am. We had a little Easter lesson where Jake informed us that Jesus now lives in the jungle. On sunday we dyed Easter eggs and did the Easter egg hunt at Grandma and Grandpas house. A.J. brought his slackline and I got on there, it was really fun - kind of like tight rope walking. It was actually warm! It felt so good. It was a great Easter.

Girls in white dresses....

I'm humming Julie Andrews as I type. What pretty, well-behaved girls! Like the new logo?! In these pictures I was going for a vintage feel. I love vintage looking photography!

Easter Portraits

Ambition

I got some bulbs from our realtor as a welcome gift when we moved in, so I planted them in the fall. I'm so glad I did. It's a bit of spring poking out in between the bouts of snow. It makes me happy....

Wind wind go away...

Wow it was windy, but you couldn't tell from these troopers! The kids were so good considering how cold it was.

April Showers?

I don't think April showers are supposed to include SNOW showers, but it was beautiful even if it was a tiny bit cold up on that hill in Rexburg.

Easter Mini-sessions

Since Easter time is coming soon, I thought it would be a great time to offer mini-sessions to help parents show off their kids Easter outfits. Excursion Photography will be doing mini-sessions from 9a.m. - 11a.m. this Saturday the 16th of April. It will be 10-minute sessions and I will email you the 1-2 best photos and a copyright release so you can print them as you please. The cost will be $10. Mother's Day is just around the corner and this will be a great gift for that. This is a GREAT deal, but on top of that, if you "like" Excursion Photography on Facebook you can print a coupon for 1 free 5X7 print! The coupon will be good for the mini-session on saturday as well as any session booked between now and June 1st. The sessions will be on a first-come first-serve basis. Bring your friends and we will see you on Saturday!

A little too good...

So I was at Walgreens on thursday and I lost Jake. We looked EVERYWHERE for him. Finally after at least 5 minutes an employee found him behind the photo counter tucked into a cubby/shelf, eating a chocolate. We've been playing a lot of hide and seek lately. What was I thinking teaching him how to hide really good?! The funny thing is the last place I saw him was right next to the photo counter, he must have just dived right behind it, because it was seriously in an instant that he was gone. But I didn't even think to look back there because there was a girl working back there, I thought for sure she would have seen him.

We let Claire watch Little Princess, I thought it might be a little too intense for her, but I let her anyway. She LOVED it. However at the end she started to tear up when she is reunited with her father. That's the first time that's ever happened. My little girl is growing up. And unfortunately she has my genes..

Wedding Season

It was quite windy as usual but we had some beautiful sun. SO excited for Spring!
