Summer wouldn't be complete without a trip to Rigby Lake. Danielle and Malone met up with us and we hung out at "the beach" as Claire calls it, for a bit. Chris and Malone had fun snorkeling. Jake ate sand. Claire made a river through the sand. Then we went over to Pickett's for some delicious classic bambinos.

Whoever you are.
Oh shopress extraordinaire,
For the past 3 months you have beaten me out of every Walgreens deal I have tried to get and most Target deals. Last week you made it to the store 30 minutes before me to clean out all 20 boxes of Huggies wipes that were on sale for almost nothing. You feel it a pleasure to buy all 30 packages of Chinet plates simply because you can. Why have you taken away this simple joy of a stay at home mom? I have but two options, 1. to forget my hobby/obsession of bargain shopping (at least at Walgreens)and cry myself to sleep at night or 2. break the Sabbath and shop first thing Sunday morning. Don't you realize you have made a woman question her faith! So I will step back, forget the friend I once called Walgreens. But just you wait, if I ever find you. If I ever see that person who bought out an entire case of trial sized sunscreen you can bet that I will let you know of the toil you have brought to me and my family. I will find your stash of coupons and burn it using my free after rebate lighter. You better watch out, because you DON'T come between a woman and her shopping.
Sincerely,
The Dollar Menunaire
PS, if you're looking for an apprentice, let me know!

We're number one! We're number one!
I thought the title was fitting for this picture I got of Jake. I FINALLY got his 1-year pictures done, (at almost 15 months). Claire is totally into pictures now and loves to pose- which is good and bad. Guess how I got him to smile? I was hitting myself on the head with a drum stick. It worked like a charm. So sorry to everyone, you will finally be getting your updated pictures of my kids.

Snedaker Reunion
This weekend was the Snedaker Family Reunion. There were a ton of people and we stayed at the West Pine lodge. It was lots of fun. Claire made instant friends with the girls her age and I felt like I didn't see her much the whole time. We had fun going down the long slide, playing games, volleyball and Chris caught a couple touchdowns in their football games. I felt like I finally got to know a lot of Chris' cousins- and there are a lot. It was so beautiful and we had great weather. Not to mention tons of food - I probably gained 10 pounds! I had so much fun playing around with my camera and using the macro feature on it. Jake was a bit of a handful but he was a good boy most of the time.

Gone are the days..
Little photographer and 4th of July
I forgot my camera when we went to the 4th of July parade, so I picked up a disposable at the gas station. I FINALLY (with the help of Claire) finished the roll and thought I'd post. Claire much enjoyed the little camera and took quite a few funny pictures- I thought I'd post one. The other pictures on the roll were from our train ride to Ogden with my family.
